The Masterpiece Series, which Ludus has been working on since 2017.

For the most part, the musics chosen for this series are ones originally written for a string quartet.

This particular program, however, features Mr. H. Koumatsu, a scholar on string quartet and a composer residing in Yokohama.

The musics were chosen out of his work Four Japanese Folk Songs for String Quartet （『弦楽四重奏のための日本民謡』）and "Piazzolla" for String Quartet（『弦楽四重奏のためのピアソラ』）.
